Click here for: What's on at The Milton Rooms, Malton. We (the Milton Rooms Committee) have the ambition to make the Milton Rooms a truly regional centre for the performing and visual arts. We have transformed the Milton Rooms into a centre for the performing arts. We also have plans to include studios etc. for the visual arts.Last year we relaunched the venue and for the first time in decades Malton saw first class performances by national stars (including Barrie Cryer and Georgie Fame). We have a first class theatre team - well-known actor Garry Cooper and west end theatre director, Nick Bagnall. So please support our events.

July 2012 Malton Roman Festival. This was a great show early this year. It will be even better next year -  real live Roman soldiers and gladiators,displays on Roman and celtic life including Roman cooking, a history tent with archaeological finds, and possibly a Roman play based on the best of Plautus' farcical comedies. We hope to welcome back the 6th and 9th legions, the year after the 16th centenary of the Roman evacuation of the provinceClick here..
